School classes and groups have to register online via internet. Groups of more than 25 pupils will have to split up in two sub-groups. Each group must be accompanied by one adult and registered separately.
Registration opens on 25 September 2017
When: On Thursday, 9 and Friday, 10 November 2017, the Science Festival will welcome pre-booked school parties and groups only. The Festival will be open from 9:00 to 12:00 (bloc 1) and from 13:30 to 16:30 (bloc 2). Your pupils will participate in one of these blocs, i.e. in three subsequent workshops of 30 minutes each. After this, you can take a self-guided tour to visit the rest of the activities during one hour.

Target audience:
- Fundamental school: Cycles 3.2, 4.1 and 4.2
- Secondary school: 7e, 8e, 9e and 7e, 6e, 5e
Programme: A detailed description of the numerous workshops and shows will be available on this site as of 1 September 2017.
Catering: Several regional or organic snacks will be available: sandwiches, waffles, croissants, cake. You can purchase them on the 2nd floor of the Abbaye de Neumünster from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 16:30.
Transport information:
If you use public transport with groups of more than 10 people, we recommend you book a group ticket beforehand by contacting the appropriate transport providers.
If you use a special bus, please note that the bus cannot enter the Rue Münster. Please check the following map for appropriate places to stop with the bus: Map (pdf)
- Bus stop “Roosevelt”in front of the cathedral (Boulevard Roosevelt). Walk to the Grund or use the lift connecting the Plateau du Saint-Esprit to the Grund (5 min.)
- Bus stop “Rumm”, at the intersection of the Rue de Trèves and the Rue de la Tour Jacob (Clausen). Walk down the Rue du Rham, then take the small bridge to access the Abbaye de Neumünster (5 min.)
- Bus stop “Huelen Zant”, Rue Sigefroi (Montée de Clausen) opposite the Huelen Zant. Walk up the street, take to the left to walk along the Corniche and then down the Breedewee (10-15 min.)
- Bus stop “Heinrich Heine”, next to the former Arcelor Mittal building. Go down the Boulevard de la Pétrusse, then walk down the Montée de la Pétrusse (15-20 min.)
- Bus stop “Al Molkerei” on the Boulevard d’Avranches. Walk down the Boulevard and then down the Montée de la Pétrusse (10-15 min.)
